Welcome to the official website of Orthodontic and Dentofacial orthopedic Association of Nepal (ODOAN). ODOAN is the official body of the orthodontists working all over Nepal. It is one of the oldest specialty association which is proudly affiliated to Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society (APOS) and World Federation of Orthodontists( WFO). ODOAN is highly committed to upgrade the orthodontic treatment and education quality via various activities directed to our valued members. Apart from that we are working hard to make the public aware that orthodontic treatment is highly super specialized doman of dentistry which needs additional 3 years or more training after completion of bachelor of dentistry.
The treatment received by underqualified personnel may lead to various hazards which need to be understood by fellow colleagues and public as well. ODOAN will be collaborating with various national and international association and social organizations to explore the possibilities to expand the horizon of orthodontics. The members of the organizing committee and myself are very proud to present the “15th International Conference of ODOAN” and welcome all participants to Kathmandu on 16th November 2024.
The scientific workshops on specialization and related themes will enable us to achieve our targeted mandate and vision. All the international and National Faculties including unique Key Note speakers, will show us recent developments in various fields in the world of Orthodontics. Besides the wonderful scientific program, delegates may also wish to explore many of the exciting tourist attractions within Kathmandu. Delegates can enjoy the beautiful historical temples and religious places like Pashupatinath Temple , Swayambhu Maha chaitya (Swayambhunath). Extending your stay in Nepal and visiting nearby tourist destinations like Pokhara and Chitwan can give another refreshment to the visit.

On 16th November, there will be academic bonanza contributed by different international and national experts. Our well known International Key Note Speaker Dr Varun Karla will be presenting on “The Art and Science of Space Closure in Extraction Cases”.
There will be pre-conference hands on course on
“Effective and Efficient Orthodontic Mechanics and Techniques”.
